Seller's Notes

This 1965 Fiat Jolly Replica is finished in Giallo Positano paintwork with wicker seating and an open sided cabin. It is powered by a freshly built engine paired with a synchromesh gearbox sourced from a Niki 650. The odometer currently indicates 96,191 km*. Styled after the beach going Fiat Jolly conversions of the 1960s, this example captures the relaxed Riviera aesthetic with its lightweight proportions and open air layout. *** Update - This vehicle now has a current Victorian roadworthy certificate and is able to be registered Fiat’s original Jolly models were produced in limited numbers by Ghia as resort runabouts for hotels, beaches and private estates. Their cut away sides, wicker seating and bright colours made them icons of mid century European design. Modern recreations continue this distinctive character while benefitting from updated craftsmanship. Today, Jolly replicas remain popular as leisure vehicles for coastal homes, estates and private collections. This example’s early history is unknown, as the current owner commissioned its Jolly style build directly rather than purchasing an existing complete car. The vehicle was recreated in Italy by Italian Classic Cars SAS, a specialist in Fiat restorations and Jolly conversions. It received refurbishment work in late 2024 including new paintwork, renewed trim and a freshly built engine as part of the build. The exterior presents in excellent condition, with the Giallo Positano finish showing cleanly and no significant imperfections reported. The open sided bodywork and fittings align with traditional Jolly style recreations, and the owner reports no accident damage. The interior is also in excellent condition, with wicker seating, cabin trim and flooring all presenting cleanly. Mechanically, the car is powered by a newly built engine and fitted with a synchromesh gearbox from a Niki 650, providing easier shifting than the original specification. The owner reports no known faults, and the vehicle operates reliably in its current configuration. No additional mechanical modifications beyond the Jolly style conversion have been fitted. This Fiat Jolly Replica will be supplied with its keys and import approval paperwork. No service books accompany the vehicle. As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks, bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and conduct any research they feel necessary before bidding. There are no security interests recorded on the PPSR against the serial number, and it is not recorded as written off or stolen.
