1966 Ford Mustang GT K-Code

1966 Ford Mustang GT K-Code | Raven Black | Red Vinyl | Matching Numbers Few cars capture the spirit of the 1960s quite like the Ford Mustang, and this 1966 GT K-Code presents a particularly desirable combination of performance, specification and timeless American styling. Finished in Raven Black over a contrasting red vinyl interior, this Mustang delivers a striking colour combination that perfectly complements its unmistakable muscle car presence. Under the bonnet sits Ford’s highly regarded 289ci HiPo V8, designated by the sought-after K-Code. The high-performance 289 was a special offering within the Mustang range, featuring strengthened engine components and a more sporting character than the standard V8. Today, the K-Code remains one of the more desirable factory engine configurations for early Mustang enthusiasts. Adding further appeal, this example is represented as matching numbers, an important consideration for collectors seeking a Mustang that retains its original drivetrain identity. Combined with the GT specification, this provides an appealing foundation for a car that celebrates the performance credentials of Ford’s original pony car. The GT package adds to the overall desirability, complementing the Mustang’s sporting character with distinctive styling and period-specific equipment. Inside, the red vinyl upholstery provides a vivid contrast to the Raven Black exterior, creating a classic presentation that captures the character of the original car. A classic Mustang with the right credentials, unmistakable presence and enduring collector appeal.
