Seller's Notes

A charismatic and highly desirable air-cooled classic sports car, this Porsche 911 2.7 Targa combines the iconic styling and engaging driving character of the G-series 911 with the open-air appeal of Porsche’s distinctive removable roof design. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.7-litre flat-six engine driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. This original Australian-market model has recently been acquired by the seller and the reportedly fourth owner, who has kept the vehicle parked indoors. The seller reports that the car was personally collected by the first Australian owner in Germany, referred to as a ‘Tourist Delivery’ vehicle. It retains original books and service history. The odometer indicates 68,333 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1974 This 911 2.7 Targa is finished in a bold shade of red with a contrasting gloss-black targa roof bar and a black vinyl-trimmed targa roof panel, over a black leather-trimmed interior, featuring red front seat belts. It rides on a set of 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels finished in gloss-black with polished ‘petal’ spokes and lips, fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Equipment includes a top-tinted windscreen, a front chin spoiler, a heated rear screen, an analogue clock, and heater and ventilation controls. This example has been fitted with a Continental stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The car comes with a tartan tool roll, a red plastic document wallet, the stamped service booklet, the Continental user’s leaflet, and some maintenance invoices. One ignition key is included. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: three small stone chips to the front-end and one small stone chip to the rear bodywork. There is visible trim wear around the Targa hoop area. This 911 Targa’s most recent maintenance was carried out in March 2025 at an indicated 67,579 km by Ktec Rallye, which consisted of an annual service, including an engine oil and filter change, a brake fluid flush, a full inspection, a new air filter, and the oil lines, thermostat, and cooler being replaced. Another annual service was carried out in June 2022 at an indicated 61,126 km by K-Tec Autohaus Pty Ltd, which included an engine oil and filter change, new front bonnet struts being installed, and the vehicle being set up on the dyno.
