First registered in August 1988, this example has reportedly been cherished by a single enthusiast owner since new. This VL-era HSV SV88 is one of only 150 examples produced. The SV88 was based on the VL-generation Holden Commodore and was the first model produced by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). These high-performance models featured an aerodynamic bodykit, a potent V8 engine, an enhanced interior with upgraded trim and materials, as well as additional chassis, brake, and suspension upgrades. This example is finished in the appealing two-tone colour scheme of Dorward Blue over Jewel Midnight with a contrasting red centre coachline, over a blue leather and cloth-trimmed interior, featuring darker blue ‘SV’-embossed accents on the seat backs.
