Seller's Notes

A highly desirable and exceptionally rare turbocharged modern classic Japanese performance coupe, this Nissan Skyline GT-R is presented as a Scuderia-imported example reportedly predating the later Australian-delivered R32 GT-R programme, and is stated by the seller to be one of only six such examples imported. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.6-litre ‘RB26DETT’ inline-six engine driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. This example was put through Australian compliance by Scuderia in 1990, and it has been with the seller for the past 20 years. The seller notes that this example was prepared by Scuderia and reportedly configured for Targa Tasmania use, with Scuderia engine and gearbox preparation work having been carried out. The seller also notes prior ownership by Ross Ambrose Racing in connection with Targa Tasmania activities. The odometer indicates 117,362 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1990 This Skyline GT-R is described as a rare Scuderia-imported example and is stated by the seller to pre-date the later official Australian-delivered R32 GT-R programme. This example is finished in the timeless shade of Spark Silver, over a black cabin featuring two-tone grey synthetic suede upholstery. It rides on an aftermarket set of 17-inch Osse five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres. Equipment includes projector headlights, a three-spoke steering wheel, automatic air conditioning, centre console battery voltage, oil temperature, and boost pressure gauges, a Sony cassette stereo, an Active Speaker sound system, and electrically operated windows and door mirrors. This example has been fitted with a Scuderia Racing speedometer, a lower centre console VDO turbo pressure gauge, a rear seat ‘delete’, a rear roll cage, OMP harnesses, Nismo front bumper air ducts, Drift air filters, an aftermarket front strut brace, an aluminium oil catch can, an aftermarket fuel rail, and an aluminium radiator. The seller reports Scuderia engine and gearbox preparation work as part of the vehicle's history. The car comes with previous sales invoices and a historical ‘REVS’ certificate. One ignition key is included. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. The seller states that the last maintenance was reportedly carried out in May 2026 at approximately an indicated 117,000 km. This R32 GT-R combines the appeal of Nissan’s legendary RB26-powered performance flagship with particularly unusual Australian-market provenance. The seller states that it is one of only six Scuderia-imported examples and notes period links with Targa Tasmania preparation and Ross Ambrose Racing ownership history. For collectors of significant Japanese performance cars and enthusiasts seeking a distinctive chapter of Australian GT-R history, this example would offer an intriguing addition to a wider collection, while also promising an engaging driving experience on fast roads and at enthusiast events.
