Seller's Notes

This 964-generation Porsche 911 Carrera 2 is a desirable modern classic, offered here with a few discerning modifications. Under the rear engine lid sits a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six, producing around 190kW and driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. An original Australian-market, ‘C23’-code example, this 911 has been with its current and third owner for four years. The odometer shows 80,683 km, which is supported by a detailed maintenance history. The 911 Carrera 2 is finished in the attractive hue of Dark Blue over an attractive Linen leather-trimmed interior. It rides on a set of 16-inch ‘Design 90’ alloy wheels, which are fitted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tyres. Equipment includes an electronically raising and lowering rear spoiler, an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat, a four-way adjustable passenger seat, a heated rear screen with a wiper, cruise control, air conditioning, and an electric sunroof. This example has been fitted with an Alpine audio head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, and a 993 RS-style steering wheel. Mechanical changes include Bilstein B6 dampers, Eibach springs, Eibach anti-roll bars, Tarett 964 RSR-style inner tie rods, and an RS muffler bypass pipe which replaces the original rear exhaust muffler. The car will be accompanied by its owner’s manuals in their black leather wallet, a selection of maintenance invoices, the tool roll, and the original space-saver spare wheel. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the bonnet has touched up stone chips and some which are not touched in, as well as two small paint blemishes next to each other on the near side quarter panel, and a small dent, with no paint missing next to the driver’s side door handle, between the handle and the edge of the door. Inside, the Linen interior has a natural ‘patina’ of age, and there is a darkening of the colour in the creases of the leather. The car’s last inspection of roadworthiness was conducted in December 2023, during which the seller reports that no warnings or advisory items were noted. This 911’s most recent maintenance was carried out in August 2023 at 77,973 km by Porsche specialist Motor Renn Werks. The work comprised of a full service with an engine oil and filter change, along with the replacement of the front and rear brake discs and pads, a valve clearance adjustment, and a torque down of the head. Prior to this, it was serviced in March 2022 at 73,910 km, which was a full service and replacement of the fuel filter and valve cover gaskets, and in March 2021 at 65,846 km, which was a full service and a service of the steering rack. Both services were performed by Motor Renn Werks. 09/1991 - 3,517 km - Hamiltons Pty Ltd Porsche 03/1995 - 11,852 km - Hamiltons Pty Ltd Porsche 08/1996 - 15,939 km - Hamiltons Pty Ltd Porsche 10/1998 - 22,157 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 03/1999 - 24,789 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 03/2003 - 33,654 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 08/2004 - 36,691 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 11/2006 - 41,036 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 08/2008 - 43,191 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 01/2010 - 44,622 km - Porsche Centre Melbourne 08/2011 - 47,168 km - Corse Automotive 01/2013 - 51,417 km - Corse Automotive 01/2014 - 51,417 km - Corse Automotive 01/2015 - 52,858 km - Corse Automotive 02/2017 - 56,752 km - Corse Automotive 01/2018 - 58,343 km - Corse Automotive 02/2019 - 59,423 km - Corse Automotive 11/2020 - 61,230 km - Corse Automotive 03/2021 - 65,846 km - Motor Renn Werks 03/2022 - 73,910 km - Motor Renn Werks 08/2023 - 77,973 km - Motor Renn Werks This Australian-market 964-generation Porsche 911 Carrera 2 is a stylish and sought-after modern classic sports car, offered from its third owner benefitting from a strong history and a relatively recent marque specialist service.
