An engaging 1990s performance hero, finished in the vivid hue of Dakar Yellow. This is an original Australian-delivered car, and one of the first E36 M3s supplied in the country. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.0-litre inline-six, delivering 210kW and 320Nm torque to the rear wheels through a rebuilt five-speed manual transmission. This M3 has been fitted with several replacement parts over the last few years, including the chain tensioner, clutch, and dual mass flywheel. It is finished in Dakar Yellow, and the cabin features the desirable ‘Vader’ seats trimmed in Anthracite M cloth and Amaretta with M-tricolour detailing. It rides on a set of 17-inch ‘Style 24’ alloy wheels, shod with Continental tyres. Factory-fitted equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, an electric sunroof, a rear sunblind, front armrest, adjustable rear headrests, and a BMW radio-cassette player with a boot-mounted 6CD autochanger. Included in the sale is the complete owner’s book pack, service book, a digital workshop manual, dealer brochures, various maintenance invoices and magazine articles, warning triangle, spare wheel, first aid kit, toolkit, glovebox-mounted torch, custom car cover, and two keys.
