1994 Dodge Viper 1st Gen (SR I)

A visceral and analogue modern classic American sports car, this Dodge Viper RT/10 is a first-generation example of the model conceived to be a spiritual successor to the Shelby Cobra. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.0-litre V10, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Originally delivered to Japan, the car was subsequently imported into Australia, where it passed compliance and was first registered in November 2025. The odometer indicates 42,645 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1994 This Viper RT/10 is finished in a bold shade of red with contrasting black vinyl wrapped sections, over a grey and black cabin now featuring grey cloth-trimmed Sparco bucket seats. It rides on an aftermarket set of 17-inch multi-spoke split-rim alloy wheels finished in black and fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Equipment includes a black leather-trimmed steering wheel, air conditioning, white dials, and electric windows. This example has been fitted with a custom widebody kit, an aftermarket exhaust system, a custom vented bonnet with a central air scoop, a Kenwood CD stereo, and Sparco bucket seats. The car is accompanied by the original owner’s manual, Japanese import paperwork, and an engineering certificate. It is sold with one set of keys. Inside, the seats are slightly faded, and some interior plastics are brittle and cracked with age. During the service in 2022, technicians reported a number of advisories, which are shown in the photo gallery. In September 2022, Steve’s Auto Group in Blacktown carried out an ‘A’ service, with new engine oil and filter, as well as replacement of the main battery, four braided brake lines, clutch kit, machined flywheel, clutch master cylinder, front and rear brakes, all spark plugs, gearbox oil, and two air filters.
