Seller's Notes
An excellent example of the stylish modern classic, with a host of eye-catching cosmetic modifications. It is powered by a 190bhp 2.8-litre straight-six petrol ‘M52’ engine, driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. First registered in October 1997, this 328i was factory delivered with the automatic transmission but has since been converted to a five-speed manual transmission. This 328i is finished in Arctic Silver and has been fitted with a full M3 body kit, M3 mirrors and large rear spoiler. Factory features include a sunroof, air-conditioning, central locking, cruise control, power windows and mirrors. Additional changes include the fitment of XYZ coilovers, an M3 steering wheel, a Sony stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, a leather gear gaiter, and a wood gear knob to suit the transmission conversion. The vehicle now rides on a set of 19-inch BBS alloy wheels. It will be supplied with its original owner’s book, service logbook and tool kit. There is no known body damage. The Arctic Silver paint work is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, with only one minor blemish on the passenger-side door mirror and very small marks on the black lower front spoiler. The BBS wheels are in good condition, with two showing just minor kerb scuffs. Inside, the grey leather-trimmed interior is in good condition with the front seats showing some minor blemishes and creases, commensurate with the age of the vehicle. The dashboard, door cards and wood trim are all in very good condition, while the centre lid has a tear in the leather. All of the gauges, controls and dials work as they should. There are no known mechanical or electrical faults. The most recent roadworthy inspection was performed in December 2020, with no warnings or advisories being issued. The most recent service was performed by the vendor, with the engine oil and filter replaced. This BMW (E36) 328i is a smart example of the modern classic sedan, known for its finely balanced handling and engaging driving experience, which has now been enhanced with the addition of a five-speed manual transmission. Benefitting from the fitment of a host of M3 additions and BBS alloy wheels, the vehicle now looks the part and is in excellent condition throughout. It is road registered, ready to enjoy and would make a stylish everyday all-rounder for any BMW fan.
