Seller's Notes

This BMW Z3 M Coupe is a lauded and lesser-seen performance coupe, noted to be in highly original condition, and finished in the eye-catching shade of Estoril Blue. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre inline-six, delivering 236kW to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. First registered in the UK in Oxtober 1998 via Sytner Warwick BMW, this Z3 M Coupe had five UK-based owners, and was exported to Australia in August 2023. The car is noted to have undergone a recommissioning service in 2022, having been in storage from 2018 until 2021. The odometer shows 78,785 miles (126,792 km) from new. This Z3 M is finished in Estoril Blue over a black and red ‘Nappa’ leather-trimmed cabin. It rides on 17-inch five-spoke ‘Style 40’ alloy wheels, which are fifted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Equipment includes an electric sunroof, heated sport seats, heated door mirrors, the BMW Business stereo with Harman / Kardon sound system, and air conditioning. This Z3 comes with an extensive history file dating back to 1998, as well as the original logbooks, owner’s manual, spare key and dealership keyring, and a Vehicle Compliance Certificate and its full NSW registration documentation. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: we believe there have been areas of the car painted to keep it in good shape over time, it now shows minor corrosion on the inside of the rear wheel arch, and minor corrosion on the suspension components. The car’s last roadworthiness inspection was carried out in the UK on 18 November 2022 at 77,014 miles, which resulted in a second-time pass with no warnings or advisories. This Z3 M Coupe’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in 2024 at approximately 78,500 miles. The work comprised of an engine oil and filter change service. An Inspection II service and a light recommissioning was performed in June 2022 at 76,096 miles, when technicians at Munich Legends replaced the engine oil, differential oil, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, rocker cover gaskets, wiper blades, rear screen wash jet, air conditioning drive belt, front wishbone arm mounting bushes and tie rods, brake fluid, oil pressure release block valve, rear brake pipes and hoses, rear axle carrier mounting bushes, and the fuel tank straps after a period in storage. Repairs were made to the sill sections and the underside was given a Waxoyl treatment by Munich Legends in November 2022. The wheels were refurbished and repainted in Metallic Silver in 2017. The air conditioning condenser was replaced and the system was refilled by Munich Legends in April 2017, who also changed the engine oil and oil filter. Corrections were made to the sills, wings, windows, door trims, wheelhouse covers, doors, and indicator lamps in October of 2016, by Sandown Coachwork. 2024 - 78,500 miles – Garage TBC 06.2022 - 76,096 miles - Munich Legends 04.2017 - 74,296 miles - Munich Legends 11.2015 - 73,022 miles - Rybrook Warwick BMW 10.2010 - 65,812 miles - Rybrook Warwick BMW 11.2008 - 58,617 miles - Rybrook Warwick BMW 11.2007 - 54,106 miles - Nick Whale BMW 05.2007 - 51,205 miles - Nick Whale BMW 06.2005 - 43,867 miles - Damon Hill BMW 03.2003 - 36,364 miles - Damon Hill BMW 07.2001 - 29,148 miles - Damon Hill BMW 02.2001 - 21,459 miles - Sytner Warwick BMW 09.2000 - 13,788 miles - Sytner Warwick BMW 04.1999 - 5,411 miles - Sytner Warwick BMW 01.1999 - 4,928 miles - Running-in check - Sytner Warwick BMW 10.1998 - Pre-delivery inspection - Sytner Warwick BMW This BMW Z3 M Coupe is a usable example of the lesser-seen performance car, blending its distinctive ‘shooting brake’ styling with a potent straight-six engine.
