It rides on a set of 17-inch M double-spoke forged ‘Style 24’ wheels, shod in Yokohama tyres. Factory-fitted equipment includes electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated sports seats with adjustable rear headrests, automatic air conditioning, cruise control and the onboard computer. The car’s original owner’s manuals and service book will be included in the sale, along with a collection of maintenance invoices. The desirable and lesser-seen factory hard top roof also accompanies the car. There has been no known bodywork damage. There are some minor stone chips on the bonnet, but the Cosmos Black paintwork is otherwise reported to be in very good shape. Similarly, the extended black Nappa leather upholstery presents well, with some age-related creasing and some light wear to the outer driver’s bolster, but no substantial marks or signs of undue wear. No mechanical or electrical issues have been detected, and there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard. This M3 was the subject of a 20,000-dollar overhaul in October 2021 at 177,401 km, when the technicians at G-Spec rebuilt the VANOS system, before replacing the engine oil, filters, engine mounts, spark plugs, drive belt, AC belt, water pump, radiator hoses, differential oil and seals, gearbox oil, gearbox mounts, brake fluid, rocker cover gasket, exhaust, brakes, drop links, rod bearings and various bushes.
