Seller's Notes

This Holden HSV (VTII) GTS 300 is a rare limited-edition sports saloon, which marks one of just 108 examples built. While the GTS 300 was originally powered by the 5.7-litre ‘C4B’ engine, this particular car is now powered by a replacement 6.0-litre ’L98’ crate engine (due to the known issues with Callaway camshafts failing), which produces a dyno-proven 450whp, delivered through a fully rebuilt transmission with a new clutch, slave and aluminium flywheel. The new engine has reportedly covered around 40,000 km, It was extensively refurbished during the seller‘s ownership, having spent the previous 15 years in storage, with the seller noting that anything that needed to be rectified was either replaced or refurbished. The odometer shows 172,700 km. This VTII-era GTS 300 is fitted with a 6.0-litre ‘L98’ crate engine with Comp Cams, a Higgins throttle body, a VCM intake, and upgraded valve springs, oil pump and timing chain. It reportedly has LS1 electricals including wiring loom and computer. The seller notes that the engine was recently health checked, with 185psi reported across all cylinders. Featuring the rare sunroof which has been fully rebuilt and a genuine fluted bonnet usually seen on the limited-run export version of the VT-generation GTSR, this GTS 300 is finished in Phantom Black, and it rides on a set of refurbished 18-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels, framing the HSV/ Harrop red brake callipers. The refurbished cabin is trimmed in red and black leather with ‘GTS’ lettering on the seats and door cards, while interior equipment includes cruise control, fully refurbished air conditioning and an Alpine head unit with Bluetooth. Modifications include a twin three-inch XForce exhaust with high-flow catalytic converters and four-into-one extractors, as well as lowered King suspension springs and Koni shock absorbers at the rear and HSV shocks at the front. Accompanying the vehicle will be its service and history records, full receipts to support the history as well as the original log books. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: very minor stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet. The most recent service was completed in April 2024 at 172,400 km, which included replacement of the engine oil, spark plugs and oil filter, as well as a dyno-tune.
