2006 Ford BF MKII XR8 Utility - 6sp Man - Octane Orange

Super tidy 2006 BF11 Falcon XR8 Ute in signature Octane Orange and running the sought after 6 speed manual gearbox. Now for sale from our Sydney Showroom. Aussie utes with a performance edge date back to the 1970s, so it was only natural for Ford's marketing gurus to add a tray, tail-gate and feisty attitude to the trusty work horse Falcon Ute. Like its XR sedans, Ford aimed the ute versions at buyers who wanted to combine driving enjoyment with their business requirements. Ford offered the buyer a couple of interesting options when it came to their XR Falcon Ute. You could opt for the base XR6, or go the whole hog and choose the savage excitement of the 240kW XR6 Turbo or the 260kW quad-cam XR8. The imported 5.4-litre engine came with 24 valves and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. And so that onlookers knew you had paid extra for the big motor, Boss 260 XRs were the only work-horse Falcons to come with a bonnet bulge. For sale is a low mileage example of the BF11 XR8 Falcon Ute. Presented in Octane with Warm Charcoal cloth, this XR8 Falcon has covered a log booked 113,836 Klms and presents in incredibly good original condition throughout. The paint work is in excellent maintained condition. The rear tray has always been protected by a factory tray liner which also looks to be in excellent condition. A hard lockable Tourneau cover is an optional extra. The exterior is complimented by Satin Black forged alloy rims with 235/40ZR18 rims all round plus aftermarket smoked tail lights (original tail lights supplied). The interior is also in great shape with the original XR seats showing very little wear. The door cards are also in great condition, the original carpets, hood lining and crash pad are in excellent condition. The XR8 Ute is fitted with factory working A/C, power steering, radio/CD player and all gauges are in working order. The XR8 is showing 113,836 Klms and the Ute is supplied with the original Ford log book and owners manuals, service receipts and two sets of keys. The Ute features the matching numbers unmodified 5.4 L Boss 260kW V8 (350 hp) delivering 500 Nm of Torque. The engine bay presents in great condition with a painted engine cover and air box cover to match the Octane body colour.
