Seller's Notes

This R171-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG is a compact yet potent modern roadster, which adds more aural drama with a vocal X-pipe exhaust. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8, producing around 265kW and driving the rear wheels via a seven-speed 7G-Tronic AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. The impressive power means the SLK 55 AMG can reach 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The odometer shows 114,053 kilometres, which is supported by its service history. This SLK 55 AMG is finished in Iridium Silver metallic over a Black and Anthracite Semi-Aniline Nappa leather-trimmed cabin with black Alcantara on the seat shoulders, black leather roll hoops, and its party-piece, a folding body-coloured hard-top metal roof. It rides on a set of 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, housing silver AMG-branded brake callipers and drilled brake discs, which fitted with Hankook Ventus Prime 3 tyres. The specification includes front and rear parking assistance, heated and electrically adjustable seats with ‘AirScarf’ neck warmers and driver memory functions, cruise control with speed limiter, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlights with cleaning, and a COMAND infotainment system with a glovebox-mounted 6CD autochanger. The seller notes that the exhaust resonator has been replaced with an ‘X-Pipe’ exhaust system and the secondary catalytic converters have been removed. Accompanying is the owner’s manuals, stamped service history booklet, a selection of maintenance invoices, two keys, and the original resonator and catalytic converters. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: there is a parking lot scuff on the lower front passenger bumper corner, while inside the driver’s seat bolster shows wear in line with the age of the car, and the door cards show some wear on their edges. The most recent inspection of roadworthiness was in February 2024 during which the seller reports that no warnings or advisory items were noted. The latest service was carried out during December 2023 at 111,180 km by Kenthurst Service Centre. The work comprised of an engine oil and filter change service. Prior to this, the car was serviced in June 2023 at 98,831 km and in November 2022 at 87,315 km, both of which were routine oil services by Kenthurst Service Centre. The seller notes that during ownership the gearbox oil was replaced, as was the power steering pump, alternator, and the rocker cover gaskets. 01/2007 - 8,409 km - Three Point Motors Mercedes-Benz 01/2009 - 19,915 km - Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne 09/2010 - 34,379 km - Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne 10/2011 - 48,714 km - Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne 10/2012 - 58,249 km - Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne 08/2014 - 66,449 km - Robert Keane Mercedes-Benz specialist 06/2015 - 71,193 km - European Repair Centre 11/2016 - 75,988 km - European Repair Centre 11/2022 - 87,315 km - Kenthurst Service Centre 06/2023 - 98,831 km - Kenthurst Service Centre 12/2023 - 111,180 km - Kenthurst Service Centre This R171-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG is a refined but exciting roadster, which is finished in a timeless factory colour scheme.
