This Subaru Impreza WRX STi S204 is an acclaimed Japanese performance saloon, and number 428 of the 600 examples produced. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre ‘EJ20’ flat-four, delivering around 239kW and 432Nm of torque to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. This S204 was purchased by the seller from a Japanese auction with a grade 4B in June 2018 before subsequently being exported to Australia, where it passed the Compliance process in May 2021. Uprated ‘Spec C Type RA-R’ front brakes have been fitted. The odometer indicates 98,007 kilometres, which the seller believes is the genuine total. Build year: 2006 Introduced as the successor to the acclaimed S203, the Impreza WRX STi S204 features a larger twin-scroll ball-bearing turbocharger, a new ECU, a silicone air intake duct, an air-cooled engine oil cooler, higher strength casting pistons, a titanium sports exhaust, a stronger chassis, improved roll rigidity, revised suspension, and innovative performance dampers fitted to the body structure between the front and rear suspension strut towers. It rides on a set of forged 18-inch alloy wheels, housing silver callipers and fitted with Nankang tyres.
