Seller's Notes
This Mercedes-Benz CLK 350 Avantgarde is a refined and well-appointed coupe with strong service history, owned by the same family from new. A 268hp 3.5-litre V6 drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. Ordered with Mercedes’ AMG sports package, it also features sport suspension, the multi-contour seats and a factory sunroof. This car is the ‘Avantgarde’ specification and features Mercedes’ AMG sports package, which adds some visual flair courtesy of the AMG body kit, along with additional stopping power via AMG brakes inside 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. The sunroof option was also taken at purchase, as well as the sport suspension option. Other factory equipment includes Parktronic, memory settings for the front seats, dual-zone climate control, and COMAND infotainment. The CLK remains original and unmodified. Accompanying the car is a comprehensive service history with McIntosh Mosman, now Mercedes-Benz North Shore, and Quixspede Service Centre since 2019. It has no known bodywork damage, and the exterior trim is also in very good order. The Tenorite Grey metallic paintwork presents very well overall. A small scratch can be found on the driver’s side front door, along with some minor scrapes under the front spoiler. The Mercedes’ cabin has been well-cared for over the years, with the original beige leather still in great shape, showing only minor wear. There is some peeling of the finish on the centre air ventilation control panel, but in general the interior trim is all very good. It is reported to be mechanically sound, and with no known electrical faults, other than that the driver’s side door keyless entry occasionally fails. A roadworthy inspection was undertaken in October 2020 and the car passed without issue. Its most recent maintenance was in August 2020 by Quixspede Service Centre at 99,495 km, which involved a standard routine service as well as new front brake discs and pads. Prior to that, a recent full service was also carried out in October 2019. The air conditioning was re-gassed in February 2020. This Mercedes-Benz CLK 350 Avantgarde boasts an enviable history of regular servicing in the care of a single family since new, and it is presented in excellent overall condition. A well-appointed example with a stylish colour scheme, this luxury coupe now represents fantastic value for money.
