Seller's Notes

This 981-generation Porsche Cayman GT4 is a tastefully specified and carefully upgraded example of the dynamic modern performance coupe, offered with very low mileage by its first and only keeper. Under the rear engine lid sits an upgraded 4.25-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, now producing 295kW, driving the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows just 24,433 Kms. This Australian-market example has been cherished by a single owner from new. Released in 2015, the 981-generation Cayman GT4 features a larger and more powerful flat-six engine, a six-speed manual gearbox, a redesigned aerodynamics package, lower ride height, and 991-era 911 GT3-derived brakes and suspension dampers. This example was specified in the timeless hue of Carrara White Metallic with a carbon-fibre front splitter, over a black leather and Alcantara-trimmed interior, featuring contrasting Guards Red stitching and seat belts, embroidered GT4 lettering on the headrests, and carbon-fibre trim. It rides on a set of 20-inch twin five-spoke alloy wheels finished in matte-silver, framing red Porsche-branded brake callipers, and shod in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres. The factory specification includes the Sport Chrono package, switchable sport mode, electrically adjustable dampers, switchable exhaust, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a PCM infotainment system with satellite navigation, cruise control, , carbon-fibre bucket seats, electrically adjustable door mirrors, and a passenger footwell storage net. This Cayman GT4 now features a DeMan 4.25-litre engine upgrade package including an increased bore, a longer stroke, stronger connecting rods, custom pistons, a new camshaft, and in-house ECU tuning, as well as Tractive dampers, and a DSC controller, a Guards Red half roll cage and an OMP driver’s harness. The car will be supplied with an aftermarket GT3 exhaust muffler, the original suspension components, a warning triangle, two key fobs, all the owner’s manuals with a black leather wallet, and the stamped service booklet. The Carrara White Metallic paintwork is reported to be in excellent overall condition.. There is a stone chip on the bonnet, as well as stone chips on the front splitter, and a tiny stone chip on the nearside rear quarter behind the air vent. Moving inside, the cabin is in great shape given the car’s age, with some use-related creasing on the driver’s seat bolsters, scratches on the driver’s door sill, and a few minor scuffs on the passenger-side of the transmission tunnel. The seller is not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults, and they state that there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard. This Cayman GT4’s most maintenance was a routine service, which was carried out in December 2022 by Autohaus Hamilton. The work included an engine oil and filter change, a full inspection, and the fuel injectors and spark plugs being cleaned. Prior to this, full services were performed in November 2021 and March 2021, which included new engine oil and filters, the spark plugs and injectors cleaned, and a full inspection. Other notable maintenance includes the fitment of new brake discs and pads. Presented in excellent overall condition, with a handsome factory colour scheme, and now boasting a desirable DeMan 4.25-litre engine upgrade, it would make a discerning addition to any assembly of Stuttgart’s finest, and a thrilling weekend toy, longer-distance cruiser, and track-day weapon.
