Seller's Notes

This Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR is a fiery special-edition hot hatch boasting a desirable factory specification. Under the bonnet sits a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four, delivering 213kW to the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift and a limited-slip differential. This example was first used as a demonstrator vehicle by Ringwood Volkswagen and has been with the seller since 2021. It remains under warranty until June 2025. It is believed to be one of approximately 300 examples produced for the Australia market. The Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR – or Touring Car Racing – is a special-edition hot hatch that features a locking differential and sits lower than the standard Golf, with altered spring rates and damper settings. It also features a remapped 2.0-litre engine, a new stainless-steel exhaust, two additional radiators, upgraded brake discs, and tweaked power steering. This example is finished in Pure White, offset by black hexagonal side decals and red front-end highlights. The cabin is trimmed in a combination of black and red cloth and Alcantara, and features tartan-style seat centres, contrast stitching, and a 12 o’clock steering wheel marker. It rides on 19-inch black alloy wheels, housing red callipers. Equipment includes a sunroof, front and rear parking assistance, a multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, climate control, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), and satellite navigation. Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, service book, spare wheel, and two keys. The vehicle comes with the TCR logo displayed on the door and passenger side doors when opened as puddle lights, with the projection pointing towards the ground.
