F10 (2010 to 2017)

BMW introduced the sixth generation of their 5 Series in 2010. Known as the F10, the sixth generation of BMW 5 Series continued the tradition of luxury executive cars, which were offered as sedans, station wagons, and 5 door fastbacks (known as Gran Turismo). A number of gas and diesel inline 4 and inline 6 engines were offered, as well as a V8 for the top of the line F10 M5. At Classic.com we only track the following variants: 528i xDrive, 535d, 535i, 535xi, 550i, 550i xDrive, M5, Alpina B5 and Alpina D5. This generation of 5 Series also saw the introduction of a hybrid variant, the ActiveHybrid 5. The BMW F10 5 Series was replaced by the G30 5 Series in 2017.
