The Ferrari 488 was produced from 2015 to 2019 and marked Ferrari’s full transition to turbocharged V8 power in its mid-engine lineup, replacing the naturally aspirated 458. Powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 661 hp in the GTB and Spider (and up to 710 hp in the track-focused 488 Pista), the 488 delivered immense performance while maintaining sharp handling and everyday usability via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It was offered as the 488 GTB coupe, 488 Spider, and later the Pista / Pista Spider, with total production estimated at around 12,000–14,000 cars across all variants.
