Produced from 2015 to 2023, the sixth-generation Ford Mustang (S550) represented the Mustang’s transformation into a truly global performance car, introducing independent rear suspension and right-hand-drive production for the first time. Offered in fastback coupe and convertible body styles, the range spanned EcoBoost four-cylinder, V6 (early markets), and 5.0-litre Coyote V8 GT models, with performance flagships including the Shelby GT350, GT350R, and the supercharged GT500.
