A highly original example of the stylish classic coupe. Under the bonnet is the 4.5-litre ‘M117’ naturally aspirated V8, producing around 225hp, driving the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. The SLC is a true 2+2, with pillarless side windows and the roofline raised for additional headroom in the rear. The SLC comes factory equipped with power steering, power windows, air-conditioning, full leather, and wood trim. A factory fitted sunroof adds an extra element of luxury and brings the summer sun into the elegant cabin when desired. An aftermarket Clarion CD head unit has been fitted to the vehicle. The vehicle is supplied with the original owner’s manual. The special NSW plates can also be included. The roof lining, door cards and wood trims are all in excellent condition for the age, and all switches, controls and gauges work as they should. There are no known mechanical or electrical faults. The Mercedes-Benz passed its most recent roadworthy inspection in June 2021, with a first time pass and no warnings or advisories being issued. The most recent service was performed by Autowerks, a European car specialist, who performed a full vehicle inspection, oil change, replaced the sunroof switch, and fitted new tyres. This Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC is a good example of the stylish C107 model; a true modern classic, that benefits from factory features like the optional sunroof.
