Seller's Notes
An eye-catching classic coupe finished in a stylish colour scheme. It is powered by the 2.3-litre ‘M20’ straight-six, producing around 141bhp, coupled to the three-speed automatic transmission. First registered in 1982, the 323i was the top model in the E21 line-up and has been cared for by the current vendor for the past three years. The E21 represents the first of the famed 3-Series line of compact executive cars by the German manufacturer. The stylish coupe design of the 323i is finished in a black over black and grey colour scheme. The interior features air-conditioning and power mirrors. The vehicle rides on 13-inch ‘Hotwire’ styled alloy wheels. The original stereo has been replaced with a JVC CD head unit and Pioneer speakers. The vehicle is supplied with its original owner’s book, log book and tool kit. There is no known body damage. The black paintwork is reported to be in very good overall condition. Surface rust that was present around the window frames and boot has been repaired and repainted. All the brightwork and badging is present and correct. Inside, the interior presents very well, with the front seats in particularly good condition. The door cards, rear seats and roof lining are all good condition, and all switches, gauges and dials work as they should. There are no known mechanical or electrical faults. The most recent service was performed by the owner, replacing the engine oil and filter. The cam belt was last replaced with the odometer reading 105,000km. This car’s original stamped service book is included in the sale, with numerous early records, as shown in the photo gallery. This BMW (E21) 323i is a stylish classic coupe and represents the top model in the first generation of the popular 3-Series. It is presented in a smart colour scheme, in generally excellent condition for its age, and is reported to be in good mechanical order. It should make a charming weekend cruiser or a chic modern classic daily driver. The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
