Seller's Notes

This E30-generation BMW M3 is an acclaimed modern classic performance hero, finished in a smart all-black colour scheme. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.3-litre ‘S14’ inline-four, delivering around 147kW to the rear wheels through a dog-leg five-speed manual transmission. This left-hand-drive M3 is reported to have originally been delivered to Gibraltar before later being exported to the UK in 2006 and then Australia in 2023 by the seller, where it is now offered for sale. The odometer indicates 96,342 miles, which the seller states is supported by service records. Build year: 1987 This example is finished in Diamond Black Metallic over a black leather-trimmed cabin. It rides on a set of split-rim BBS 090 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with Nexen tyres. Also included are the original 15-inch M3 wheels with tyres. The car was fitted with Eibach springs and Bilstein shock absorbers by the previous owner.Equipment includes electric windows, sunroof, rear window blind, Alcantara steering wheel, air conditioning, a trip computer, and a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB radio, which retains original styling but brings modern-day audio connectivity. The vehicle was originally delivered in Lachssilber colour, and so has been resprayed to the current colour. The seller believes that some panels have been resprayed since then, including the front bumper. Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, service book, a large folder with extensive service historys, the removed UK registration plates and a spare Evo 3 style splitter. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the paintwork is in generally good condition, however with minor paint bubbling on some sections of the car, scratch marks on the driver’s side quarter panel, paint chips on the driver’s mirror and along the edge of the driver’s door, light scratches and a paint chip on the rear spoiler, a paint chip on the edge of the fuel flap, bubbling paint on the passenger-side front quarter panel, and fading leather on the seats. The air conditioning compressor has been replaced recently however the system still needs repair to be fully functional The car is fully complied for Australia, and there is a valid Queensland registration in place, which expires on 18 September 2025. The seller notes that a detailed folder with service history and invoices from new will accompany the vehicle The seller also reports that the car was given a full going over with minor issues fixed at Munich Legends in the UK before export, and was most recently serviced in Australia in 2024. The E30-generation BMW M3 was intended to be a homologation special in order to enter the 3 Series into DTM and Group A touring car racing, but was launched to unmitigated success and went on to become one of the performance car world’s mainstays. Finished in a timeless all-black colour scheme and fitted with a set of original-style, uprated wheels alongside a modern Blaupunkt stereo, this example would make a natural addition to any M-car collection as well as a nostalgic and enjoyable analogue companion for country-road blasts.
