Seller's Notes

This 964-generation Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa is an increasingly desirable modern classic air-cooled sports car. Under the rear engine lid sits a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. A UK-delivered model, this right-hand drive example was first registered there in June 1990, and was later imported into Australia. The odometer indicates 166,887 miles, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1990 This 964-era 911 Carrera 2 Targa is finished in the sophisticated shade of Marine Blue Metallic with a contrasting brushed metal targa roof bar, over a navy blue leather-trimmed interior. It rides on an aftermarket set of 17-inch Fuchs-style alloy wheels finished in gloss-black with brushed ‘petal’ spokes and lips, framing black Porsche-branded brake callipers, and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Equipment includes a top-tinted windscreen, air conditioning, electric windows, an electrically operated rear spoiler, and electrically adjustable front seats. This example has been fitted with a Kenwood stereo. The car comes with two keys, the owner’s manuals in a black leather wallet, the stamped service booklet, and an A4 folder containing a collection of maintenance invoices and historical documentation. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the driver’s side rear quarter panel has been repainted. Both front wings have signs of rust where they join the scuttle panel, and the seats show age-related wear and tear. The seller notes that the rear screen wiper is broken and the front wipers need replacing.
