Seller's Notes
This S500 Coupe is a well-preserved example of Mercedes’ luxury coupe, with relatively low mileage from new and a great specification. It features a 235kW / 320hp 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Originally delivered to Japan, it now resides in Australia. The C140 S-Class coupe is renowned for its comfort and convenience features, incorporating double-paned sound-proofed glass, electric memory seats with heating, dual-zone climate control, six-disc CD player, electric windows and mirrors, and headlight wipers. This car also features the optional wood trim on the steering wheel, as well as an electric glass sunroof. It now rides on the rare and desirable Lorinser wheels. The car has been well maintained and remains in highly original condition. There is no sign of any prior body damage. Mercedes’ original Brilliant Silver paintwork is in good condition all around, with a minor mark on the underside of the bumper, and small surface marks commensurate with the age. The clear coat on the passenger side rear quarter trim is beginning to peel. The leather interior with wood grain accents is in good order, with no excessive wear and a light ‘patina’ to the upholstery. Door and roof linings fit well and the other trims are presentable. The only visible damage is a cracked driver’s door lower speaker grille. Benefitting from routine maintenance, the car is reported to be mechanically sound and presents no warning lights. A standard minor service was carried out at 87,000 km, and the car has covered less than 1,000 km since then. The Mercedes has received regular routine servicing during its time with the current owner. In good cosmetic order and in mechanically strong condition, this 1994 Mercedes-Benz S500 Coupe is powerful, refined and comfortable, and boasts a luxurious interior. It is a handsome modern classic that offers a sophisticated driving experience, and is ready to enjoy, whether for weekend drives or cross-country road trips.
