Seller's Notes

A well-maintained example of the rugged and dependable Japanese 4x4, in flatbed chassis cab configuration. It is powered by a 4.2-litre straight-six diesel engine producing 130bhp, coupled to a five-speed manual transmission, with four-wheel drive via a transfer case with high and low-range gearing. First registered in March 1997, this HZJ75 has undergone some cosmetic refurbishment over the last year and now presents smartly. The HZJ75 has been resprayed in grey and features a light grey vinyl-trimmed cabin. The original bull bar and tray have also been powder-coated in black. It rides on a set of aftermarket 16-inch black steel wheels. The Ute retains its original three-spoke factory steering wheel, wind-up windows and dash cluster. A new Land Cruiser snorkel and modern Sony radio with USB input have been fitted. There is no known bodywork damage. The fresh grey paintwork presents in in very good condition, with a few minor chips on the driver’s door near the gap between the fuel cap, as shown in the photo gallery. Inside, the light grey vinyl seats are in good condition, with no rips or tears. The dash and door cards are also presentable, along with the steering wheel and main controls. The roof lining is sagging in places and has a small tear above the passenger seat, so would benefit from being replaced in the future. There are no known mechanical or electrical faults, and all the instruments and gauges currently work as they should. The most recent service was carried out at 296,000 kilometres by Audimake Pty in Abbotsford, when technicians performed routine maintenance replacing the engine oil and filter. All of the suspension joints have recently been re-greased, and the Land Cruiser has received a new clutch, injectors and injector pump, brakes, and timing belt around 30,000 kilometres ago. This Toyota HZJ75 Land Cruiser is a rugged and reliable utility 4x4, with proven off-road credentials, and offered here in the versatile flatbed chassis cab layout. It benefits from some recent cosmetic refurbishment, so now presents very well for its age and mileage. This Ute has been well maintained and is now ready to serve its next owner as an everyday workhorse, an adventure companion, or simply as a weekend toy.
