A heavily modified and competition-focused example of the celebrated Honda S2000, transformed into a high-output turbocharged build for roll racing and drag-style performance. It is now powered by a turbocharged 2.4-litre inline-four VTEC engine, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed Samsonas manual transmission and a Nissan GT-R R200 rear differential conversion. This original Australian-market model passed compliance in April 2000 and was acquired by the seller in March 2026. The odometer is understood to show approximately 143,000 km from new. Build year: 2000 This example is now finished in a refined shade of Ferrari Silver, over a black cabin featuring contrasting red leather upholstery and carpets. It rides on a set of staggered 17-inch Mitsubishi Evo VIII six-spoke front wheels and 15-inch Buddy Club six-spoke rear wheels, both finished in gloss-black, framing red brake callipers, and fitted with Bridgestone Potenza (front) and Pro Street Radial (rear) tyres. Externally, this example now features a Mugen hardtop, a Mugen-style vented bonnet, AP2 front headlights, AP2 rear tail lights, and a ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler. The engine build comprises a KP 2.4-litre “Big Boy” short block with dry sleeves, a 2.4 stroker crankshaft, CP 88mm 10.0:1 pistons, upgraded wrist pins, KP 2.4 rods with 7/16 rod bolts, race bearings, a balanced and blueprinted assembly, block clearancing, and KP Extreme Duty head studs. It is fitted with a Cometic MLS head gasket, a fully ported and polished cylinder head, Supertech custom intake and exhaust valvetrain kits, Brian Crower turbo camshafts, an upgraded oil pump and chain tensioner, a baffled sump, and an ATI crank pulley. Forced induction is via a BorgWarner 9180 turbocharger mounted to a KP Spec sidewinder manifold with custom bracing, supported by a 50mm GFB wastegate, Turbosmart blow-off valve, 4-bar MAP sensor, and 1,000hp-rated intercooler. The fuel system includes 2,400cc Siemens injectors, an AEM fuel rail with AN fittings, a GFB fuel pressure regulator, a custom surge tank in the boot, twin Walbro 525 pumps plus an in-tank 525 pump, and an oil/water catch can. Power is transmitted through a direct twin-plate clutch and a five-speed Samsonas gearbox. The driveline features a GT-R R200 rear differential conversion and Hardrace engine mounts. Braking has been upgraded with DC5 front Brembo callipers. The suspension setup comprises IDS drag coilovers at the rear and K-Sport coilovers at the front, along with a Koyo half radiator for improved cooling. Other notable upgrades include: an Emtron KV8 ECU with an integrated dashboard display and keypad, a BRZ electronic accelerator pedal conversion, and an AEM air/fuel ratio gauge. The car is accompanied by its log books, stamped service booklet, owner’s handbooks, and some maintenance invoices and additional documentation. One ignition key is supplied. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the car has received an exterior respray in Ferrari Silver, excluding the door apertures and engine bay. Inside, wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster, and cracking is present on the original air-conditioning dials. The most recent eSafety inspection was carried out on 26 February 2026. The seller states that the car’s most recent maintenance was carried out in May 2025 at 142,800 kilometres by Autotech Engineering, which included a retune.
