Seller's Notes

A superb example of the ever-popular sports car, presented in a handsome factory colour scheme and equipped with a number of desirable options. Under the engine lid is the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six, which sends 321bhp to the rear wheels via a five-speed Tiptronic semi-automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted shift buttons. An original Australian-market ‘C23-code’ example, this Carrera was first registered in January 2005, and has been enjoyed by the vendor for the past two years. This 997-generation 911 Carrera was specified in the ever-popular hue of Arctic Silver over an Ocean Blue leather-trimmed interior. Factory-fitted equipment includes the desirable Sport Chrono Package Plus, adaptive PASM suspension, rear parking sensors, an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, a premium Bose sound system, and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system. It rides on a set of 19-inch ‘Lobster Claw’ alloy wheels with matching silver centre caps. The car also features a carbon-fibre automatic gear selector with a matching surround, as well as a carbon-fibre ignition barrel cover and carbon-fibre inner sill covers. The seller also notes that aftermarket sports exhaust tips have been fitted. Included with the car are its original owner’s handbook and its fully-stamped service booklet. No known body damage. The Arctic Silver paintwork is believed to be entirely original, and is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, with no reported stone chips, scratches or other blemishes. Inside, the Ocean Blue leather-trimmed cabin is remarkably well-preserved, with some minor creases on the front seats and slight marks on the various buttons and switches, but no signs of any undue wear or damage. The 19-inch “Lobster Claw” alloy wheels are in great shape, though the rear passenger-side item features some very minor scuffs on its rim. There are no known electrical or mechanical faults. This 997-generation 911 has been meticulously maintained and serviced regularly, and has 12 stamps in its service book. Its last routine maintenance was a minor service, which was carried out in February 2021 at 128,294km by Porsche Doncaster. In August 2020 at 122,008km, Porsche Brighton conducted a major service, including replacement of the spark plugs and the drive belt. The vendor also notes that the brake fluid has been changed regularly, as specified by the manufacturer. This 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera is a handsomely specified and well cared-for example of the acclaimed 997-generation sports car. Presented in particularly impressive condition and equipped with the desirable Sport Chrono Package Plus, it would make a wonderful companion on its next owners favourite roads, while its smooth Tiptronic transmission and notable levels of practicality would also make it a good candidate for use as an exciting daily driver.
