This Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a powerful and well-appointed luxury saloon, in rare ‘Speed’ specification. Under the bonnet sits a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12, delivering 449kW to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. As a result, it completes the 0-100km/h sprint in only 4.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 322km/h. It was complied in Australia in June 2011. The odometer shows 113,612 km from new. This example has been serviced exclusively by Bentley main dealers from new. The Speed model was introduced in 2008 as a higher performance variant of the Flying Spur, and production was limited to approximately 1,155 units. The Speed features an increased power output as well as acoustic glazing, a new steering wheel, a new sports exhaust system with twin stainless-steel tailpipes, a 10mm lower ride height, retuned springs and dampers, thicker anti-roll bars, and ‘Speed’ lettering on the entry sill plates. This example is finished in black over a cream leather-trimmed cabin featuring diamond-quilted seat centres and Piano Black inlays. It rides on an aftermarket set of black Asanti 22-inch alloy wheels, fitted with Continental SportContact 6 tyres. Equipment includes front and rear parking assistance, privacy glass, a sunroof, cruise control, four-zone climate control, heated and electrically adjustable front seats with massage and memory functions, rear tray tables, an electric boot lid, and a central infotainment system with satellite navigation. Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, service book, Bentley-branded battery charger, and a selection of maintenance invoices. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: a repaired dent and scratch on the right-hand front guard, and a slight blemish on one of the left-hand doors. The seller notes that the rear right-hand passenger door exterior handle is not working, and the headlining in the rear section is loose.
