Seller's Notes

This BMW M5 (F10) with LCI update is a superb example of the well-appointed super saloon, described by the owner as “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” for its ability to swap between comfortable commuter and rapid performance car with a touch of the M Drive button. Power comes from a 412 kW / 560 PS 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift. Originally delivered to the UK and first registered in March 2014, this M5 was purchased by the current owner as a BMW Premium Certified vehicle; subsequently seeing use in France and Germany, before being brought home to Australia. The car features BMW’s Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) facelift updates, Dynamic Mode and Damper Control, Active M differential and M-Sport leather multi-function steering wheel with gearshift paddles and two M Drive buttons, among other highlights. It has been maintained in original specification with no modifications. Sold with the original owner’s handbook and comprehensive BMW service history, plus BMW Premium Certified vehicle documentation, invoices for maintenance and original BMW parts and consumables, and its two original keys. Likewise, the Silverstone II Metallic paintwork is in excellent condition, with only a few stone chips to be found in the expected places such as the front bumper, spoiler and bonnet. Some very minor scratches are visible upon very close inspection. Inside, the black Merino leather interior has been very well maintained and presents beautifully. The leather seats show minimal wear and creasing, and the door panels and roof lining are excellent. The car has been well-maintained and presents with no mechanical or electrical issues. A Vic Roads Certificate of Roadworthiness was completed with no warnings or advisories on 12 April 2021 at 62,602 km. In April 2021 at 62,531 km, the brakes were serviced by BM Performance Centre. Work included replacing the front discs, fluids and brake pads front and rear with genuine BMW M parts. A routine minor service was carried out in September 2020 by BMW Paris including an engine oil and filter change and carbon microfilters. Prior oil services were carried out in September 2019 and February 2018, the latter also included replacement spark plugs. This 2014 BMW M5 is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and is sold with comprehensive service history. A true globe-trotting example, this M5’s current owner transported it halfway across the world to bring it with them upon return to Australia rather than part with it, which is a testament to the quality of this particular car.
