MARKET ANALYSIS
Touring (2017 to 2018)

Introduced in 2018 alongside the standard 991.2 GT3, the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring offered a purist alternative for drivers who wanted GT3 performance without overt motorsport styling. Mechanically identical to the winged GT3, the Touring retained the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 493 hp, but was offered exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission and replaced the fixed rear wing with a subtle Carrera-style active spoiler. This understated approach revived the spirit of earlier low-key performance 911s, making the Touring one of the most enthusiast-focused modern GT cars Porsche has produced. Estimated production is approximately 1,200–1,400 units worldwide, accounting for a relatively small portion of total 991.2 GT3 output. In the Australian market, the 991.2 GT3 Touring is exceptionally scarce due to limited allocations and strong buyer demand, with values driven by manual-only configuration, originality, low mileage, and documentation, and many collectors viewing it as one of the most desirable modern naturally aspirated 911s ever built.
