MARKET ANALYSIS
GT3 (2021 to 2024)

Introduced for the 2020 model year as the successor to the 991.2, the Porsche 911 GT3 (992.1) continued Porsche’s race-bred GT philosophy with a sharper focus on aerodynamics, chassis precision, and high-revving performance. Powered by a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 502 hp, the 992.1 GT3 sent drive exclusively to the rear wheels and, crucially, offered buyers a choice between a six-speed manual and seven-speed PDK, reinforcing its dual appeal to purists and track-focused drivers alike. Available only as a coupe, the model delivered blistering performance—0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (PDK) or 3.8 seconds (manual)—while introducing double-wishbone front suspension derived from Porsche’s racing programs. Total production is estimated at approximately 4,500–5,000 cars worldwide across the 992.1 lifecycle. In the Australian market, the 992.1 GT3 was allocated in limited numbers through official channels, with demand strongest for manual cars and low-kilometre examples, and values driven by transmission choice, specification, originality, and condition, as many enthusiasts regard it as one of the most complete naturally aspirated GT3s ever built.
