Seller's Notes

A stunning ‘pop-up headlight’ example of the iconic Japanese supercar, presented in outstanding ‘time-warp’ condition. Under the engine lid rests the 270bhp 3.0-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine, mated to a factory five-speed manual transmission. First registered in 1992, this Japanese-market example was imported into Australia in 2020 where it has been fastidiously maintained by its current owner. This Honda NSX is finished in the iconic Formula Red colour scheme over a rare factory Tan leather interior It is a factory custom edition, as noted by the gold badging on the door kick plates The vehicle comes with a full, high-end KSP exhaust system and an NA-2 model front lip. A Momo steering wheel with red stitching and Type S gear shifter have been installed. This NSX rides on 17-inch Tecnomagnesio alloy wheels with Yokohama Advan tyres. The factory wheels, front lip and steering wheel are also included in the sale. Factory equipment includes electrically adjustable seats, electric windows, cruise control, air-conditioning, and the original Honda radio cassette player. The vehicle is supplied with its original logbooks, owner’s manual, spare key and tool kit. There is no known body damage. The Formula Red paintwork is believed to be fully original, and is described by the vendor as being in outstanding overall condition, having recently been professionally detailed and covered in a ceramic coating to preserve its impressive appearance. The only blemishes to speak of are some very minor stone chips on the car’s nose, in line with its road use. Inside, the tan leather-trimmed interior presents superbly, with only minimal signs of wear on the driver’s seat. The owner reports that while the factory stereo turns on, no sound can be heard from the speakers. There are no other known electrical or mechanical faults. The car’s most recent roadworthiness inspection was performed in October 2020 with no warnings or advisories being issued. This NSX’s most recent service was performed in October 2020 with the odometer reading 92,100km. At this time the engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs, and air filter were changed. A general service was performed with the odometer reading 87,941 km, which included fluid and oil changes and replacing of the belts. In addition, the current owner has rebuilt the climate control unit and replaced the trunk struts, sun visors and centre air conditioning vent with brand new OEM parts.
