Seller's Notes
This late-model fourth generation 1997 Toyota Supra (A80) is a well-preserved example of the highly desirable import. It features the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre 2JZ-GTE straight-six engine, with a six-speed V160 manual transmission. A very smart Japanese Domestic Market car and an increasingly rare find, especially in such original condition. It was imported into Australia in November 2017. The current owner acquired it on 6 December 2017, and has been the only private owner in Australia. The car has been maintained in largely original specification but is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust and Panasonic head unit. Factory features include air conditioning, Recaro front seats, heated rear screen, electric windows and power folding rear view mirrors. Sold with a limited collection of papers as well as the space-saver spare wheel, wheel brace and jack. There is no known prior body damage. The wheels, rear wing, lights and other exterior trims are in very good condition. Its white (colour code 040) paintwork is in good condition. Some marks can be found on the rear bumper under the license plate mount, but it evidently presents very well for its age. The Supra has been well preserved inside, with the original interior in place and still looking smart. There is minor heel wear to the driver’s footwell carpet. The car is reported to be mechanically sound, and it has no known electrical faults. This Toyota Supra Twin Turbo remains in very good condition, remaining highly original and benefiting from the full JDM specification. Without doubt one of the most sought-after of modern classic performance cars, especially with the six-speed manual gearbox, this Supra represents a great opportunity to add a legendary Twin Turbo model to any collection of Japanese exotica.
