360 (1999 to 2005)

The Ferrari 360 was produced from 1999 to 2005 and marked a major turning point for Ferrari’s V8 lineup, being the brand’s first all-aluminium chassis and body road car, which significantly improved rigidity and weight distribution over the outgoing F355. Powered by a 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 395 hp, the 360 was offered in Modena coupe, Spider, and later Challenge Stradale form, with either a 6-speed gated manual or Ferrari’s early F1 paddle-shift transmission. In total, around 17,000 examples were built across all variants, making it one of Ferrari’s higher-production modern classics. In the Australian market, the Ferrari 360 is widely regarded as the entry point into analogue-era Ferrari ownership, with strong demand for manual cars and well-optioned examples, while values are closely tied to service history, clutch condition (on F1 cars), and long-term maintenance provenance.
