The Honda S2000 was produced from 1999 to 2009 and stands as one of the most celebrated driver-focused sports cars of the modern era, created to mark Honda’s 50th anniversary and engineered with a pure, motorsport-inspired philosophy. Built exclusively as a rear-wheel-drive, manual-only roadster, the S2000 is best known for its naturally aspirated engines—the 2.0-litre F20C (AP1, 1999–2003) and later 2.2-litre F22C (AP2, 2004–2009)—both renowned for high-revving performance, razor-sharp throttle response, and exceptional reliability.
