HSV Maloo for Sale in Australia1990-2017

About the HSV Maloo

The HSV Maloo, produced between 1990 and 2017, stands as the ultimate expression of the high-performance Australian ute, blending a versatile tray with the raw muscle of Holden Special Vehicles’ most potent V8 powerplants, including the legendary LS2, LS3, and supercharged LSA and LS9 engines. This "coupe utility" famously shoehorned a supercar drivetrain into a practical body, evolving from a niche performance pick-up into a global icon that peaked with the world-beating, wide-body GTSR W1. In the current Australian market, the Maloo is a high-octane blue-chip investment, with the buyer pool specifically targeting the final "VFII" and LSA-equipped models that represent the last of local manufacturing. Desirability is at an absolute fever pitch for rare, low-kilometre editions finished in hero colours like "Light My Fire" or "Spitfire Green," as enthusiasts scramble to secure the pinnacle of the Commodore-based platform. Because these vehicles are the final chapter of a uniquely Australian automotive legacy, well-documented examples have seen a massive surge in market value, cementing their status as a essential cornerstone for any serious modern muscle collection.
