Porsche 911 991.2 Market Index2016-2019

About the Porsche 911 991.2

This market covers the Porsche 911 (991.2), produced between 2016 and 2019 and best known as the generation that introduced turbocharging across the Carrera range for the first time. While controversial at launch, the 991.2 delivered meaningful gains in performance and efficiency through its turbocharged flat-six engines, paired with refined chassis tuning and updated technology, without losing the core rear-engine character of the 911. In the Australian market, the 991.2 has become a highly liquid modern 911 segment, valued for its reliability, everyday usability, and strong right-hand-drive supply through both Porsche dealers and specialists. Buyer demand is strongest for well-optioned cars and enthusiast-focused variants, with manual transmissions, GTS models, and GT derivatives commanding the highest premiums as the market continues to balance modern performance with long-term collectability.
